Cake Smashes have been a type of session that Carlie has grown over the years and is recognized by clients and peers for her amazing setups.   Cake Smashes were born out of the Watch Me Grow package that Carlie provided for newborn parents to capture the baby's first year of birth.  As a capstone to that year, the babies were brought in for their first birthday and were allowed to smash a cake all while Carlie captured those experiences.  These were a celebration between her, the babies, and the families she had the privilege of capturing for a year.
